James leads Place Co with a long-term view of how the group should grow, operate and be held accountable. While his background sits in architecture, his focus has evolved into shaping the commercial direction of the business and ensuring its founding vision is carried forward with discipline.

Across his career, James has been closely involved in the delivery of complex multi-residential, mixed-use and civic projects across Australia. That experience formed a clear understanding of how development outcomes are shaped not just by design quality, but by how responsibility, risk and alignment are established early.

As Chief Executive Officer, James is responsible for setting direction, securing aligned opportunities and guiding the continued growth of Place Co. His leadership centres on building a vertically integrated group capable of operating at scale while creating long-term value that endures.
