A vertically integrated business
Place Co operates through a single, integrated development workflow. Planning, design, consultancy, manufacturing and delivery all sitting within one structure.
The model has taken shape over time, informed by repeated exposure to how projects behave when responsibility is fragmented. As work passes between disconnected stages, uncertainty compounds and intent erodes. When those stages are held together, clarity and continuity emerge. Decisions are then made with a broader view of commercial, technical and long-term implications, allowing trade-offs to be understood in context rather than in isolation.
Drawing on principles of Design for Manufacture and Assembly, complexity is addressed earlier in the process rather than absorbed later on site. Inputs are defined with greater precision, sequencing is considered from the outset and unnecessary variability is reduced. This shifts value creation into more controlled environments and allows projects to progress with greater consistency, lower volatility and stronger long-term performance.
